In diesem Projekt haben wir ein schwierig zu nutzendes Berliner Durchgangszimmer zum gemütlichen Zentrum einer Berliner Altbauwohnung umgestaltet.
Die einzelnen Segmente sind funktional durchdacht und ziehen den Raum optisch zusammen. Wir haben klassischen Rosa Portogallo Marmor mit warmen Linoleumfronten und kühlem Spiegelglas kombiniert und der Küche so ein elegantes und einladendes Aussehen gegeben. Einzelne Farbtupfer wie Rot, Flieder oder das helle Gelb lassen die Küche weniger ernst wirken.

Our Miss Marble kitchen is a Rosa Portogallo dream for our lovely clients Elena & Caspar. What was initially a difficult-to-use Berlin walk-through room has now become a warm, cosy but also functional space for the whole family.
The sophisticated pink portogallo gives the understated linoleum kitchen a simple elegance. We’ve added a few splashes of colour like a pale yellow and a cool lilac so that the kitchen doesn’t look too serious.

Der Küchenraum in einem alten Bauernhaus im Zürcher Zentrum wurde komplett neu gedacht. Das Haus besteht traditionell aus mehreren, kleinen Räumen. Der Wunsch unserer Auftraggeber war es, im Rahmen der Küchen-Neugestaltung mehr Weite zu schaffen und den vorhandenen Platz besser und vor allem zeitgemäßer nutzen zu können. Aus 3 bzw. 4 kleinen Räumen wurde ein großer, heller Wohnküchenraum. Durch das Öffnen der Räume entstanden unterschiedliche Decken- & Bodenhöhen, die die Küchenmöbel kaschieren und die Räume vor allem miteinander zu einem verbinden. Wir haben einen großen, massiven Kaminschacht in die Küchenplanung integriert und mit zusätzlichem Stauraum innen und verspiegelten Flächen außen kaum wahrnehmbar gemacht.
Die unterschiedlichen Oberflächen und Farben zonieren die Küchenelemente, konterkarieren die Substanz des alten Bauernhauses und spiegeln die Lebensfreude und Aufgeschlossenheit ihrer Bewohner wider.

The kitchen room in an old farmhouse in the centre of Zurich, Switzerland has been completely rethought. The house traditionally consists of several small rooms. As part of the kitchen redesign, our clients wished for more and, above all, more contemporary use of the available space. Three resp. four small rooms were turned into one large, bright kitchen-living room. By opening up the rooms, there were different ceiling and floor heights that conceal the kitchen furniture and, above all, link the rooms together. We integrated a large, solid chimney shaft into the kitchen design and made it barely perceptible with additional storage space inside and mirrored surfaces outside.
The different surfaces and colours zone the kitchen elements, counteracting the substance of the old farmhouse and reflecting the joie de vivre and open-mindedness of its inhabitants.

Unsere Auftraggeber haben sich für den Anbau ihrer bestehenden Wohnung eine Hausbar und ein separates Arbeitszimmer gewünscht, das multifunktional als Gästeraum genutzt werden soll.
Die Hausbar steht im Zentrum des Wohnbereichs, das Arbeitszimmer ist ein multifunktionaler Rückzugsort auf kleinstem Raum: auf dem Podest ist ein großer höhenverstellbarer Schreibtisch untergebracht und die Wände bieten auf Wunsch der Bewohner variable Wandflächen mit eigens dafür angefertigten Add-ons. Im Podest ist eine Matratze für 2 Gäste untergebracht, die bei Bedarf ausgezogen werden kann.

For the extension to their existing home, our clients wanted a home bar and a separate study that could be used multifunctional as a guest room.
The home bar is the centerpiece of the living area, the study is a multifunctional retreat in the smallest of spaces: a large height-adjustable desk is placed on the upper level and the walls offer variable wall surfaces with specially made add-ons at the request of the residents. The platform accommodates a mattress for 2 guests, which can be pulled out if required.

Die zuvor weitestgehend unbewohnte Nische wurde als Arbeits- und Rückzugsort umgenutzt. Dafür haben wir den Bereich farblich deutlich abgesetzt und mit Stauraum, einem Gästesofa und einem Vorhang versehen, der den Raum optisch vom Rest des Raumes trennen kann.

The previously largely unoccupied alcove was repurposed as a work and retreat space. For this purpose, we clearly contrasted the area in colour and provided it with storage space, a guest sofa and a curtain that can visually separate the space from the rest of the room.

When designing our own studio kitchen, we asked ourselves how we actually experience a volume and also surfaces? To what extent can an area of our living culture that is primarily functional and ordinary (such as the kitchenette) adapt to the living space or even dissolve into it instead of specifically highlighting it? The mirrored fronts manage to do both: they give the room its own dynamic, reflecting the light and the environment, and reduce the kitchen counter to its essentials.

In den ersten Lebensmonaten steht sanftes Wiegen und Schaukeln im Vordergrund. Als Babywiege und Schaukelstuhl bietet Rocky Eltern in dieser Zeit die Möglichkeit, ihr Kind erst auf den eigenen Armen und anschließend im Babybettchen in den Schlaf zu wiegen.
Wird das Kind größer wendet man das Möbel einfach um 180 Grad. Rocky präsentiert sich dann als Kinderbett mit einer Länge von 140 cm. Flexibel einsetzbare Seitenwände bieten dem Kind solange Schutz und Begrenzung, bis es keinen Seitenschutz mehr benötigt.

No matter how you twist and turn …
Rocky is a convertible 4-in-1 children´s bed with long usability, as it adapts to the growth and needs of the growing and active child. At first it is both, a cradle for baby and a rocking-chair for parents, combined into one. As the child grows the cradle can be rotated 180° and turns into a children‘s bed with a length of 140 cm and a cave below to hide inside.
You can use the compatible bedrail choosing between 3 different colors as a boundary for greater safety until the child is big enough to use the Rocky basic bed.
